Many are interested in film acting but very few can make good Actors, this is where professionalism is separated from hobbies. Desiring to act doesn't qualify someone an actor or actress whether born or made. 

Natural gold is natural from it's source unless it passes the mining and refining process it can never become of value in the market though being identify as gold. Talent is potential but will be of no value without certain things that makes it more valuable from it original state. 

When talent passes through the process of training and techniques, professionals will emerge with selling values than just being gifted. In this article we will be looking at few keys that can help any Actor born or made to move from a hobby to a Professional

How to Build into a Character for Professional delivery

Before we get into this talent mining ideas let's Understand what's "Character". From our previous article on BEGINNERS KNOWLEDGE we define character as the total sum of moral, mental, emotional, physical attributes of something or someone living or imaginary, then we saw Acting as the ability to detach this elements that forms character of something or someone. Since Actors are to perform characters what are principal keys to switch from Personal character attributes to this imaginary Character?

1. UNDERSTANDING CHARACTERISATION

Characterisation talks about the exact description of a Character. Physical attribute such as body stature, complexion, heights, movement, gesturing then mental Attributes like Sense of reasoning, intelligence, diction and expression,moral Attribute like Attitude, behavior,conduct(ways of doing things), Relationship and Emotional Attributes like Feelings, mode,tone/Voice, expression etc..  

A careful understanding characterisation will efficiently equiped an actor not to act his or herself but to detach a Character he or she is to play as.

2. BUILDING CHARACTERISATION

It is time to build self into those Moral, Mental, physical and emotional Attributes we have discovered from above.

Note!! Actors do not act their reality, most Actors esp newbies become insecure when being awarded Character to play. Alot of misconception about Actors in the world

 Why newbie Actors or Actress feel like what if I act this and people think am that kind of person. I can't act as a prostitute so people don't think am a prostitute. This is also were many parents and guardians hinder their Talented children because of this misconception about Actors that they are bad and Wayward but that's not true. This is where professionals are separated from hobby Actors. 

Hobby Actors choose what role they feel but professional Actors easily get the characterisation of their role and Build into Character knowing is a professional life. One of the Principal way to building into a Character is by Personal training with a standing mirror watching yourself displaying several roles,it boast Confidence and mastering yourself into different Characters.

3.UNDERSTANDING THE DIRECTOR IMAGINATION

Another safety tip for professionals is working with the directors imagination. What do we mean by this;

Every Director will verbally give or writes down Characters notes which helps in guiding his Actors on set for excellent performance.  Personal building self into  Character is the first key then submitting on set to the Director imagination about your role play and can help professionals to swiftly make adjustments where necessary this is what hobby Actors don't know. 

4. BREAKING HABITUAL BONDS

Habitual bonds talks about holding to your real Attributes denying to fully show what is not part of you. This is typically with hobby Actors they are so held bound to personality that anything outside their integrity is a threat to them. They don't want people to think negative about them or family or love ones to think contrary if they accept to play certain role but that's not professionalism. 

Film Acting requires Actors free from habitual bonds, Actors who are ready to build into any Character knowing they are just train professionals for it and not really who they are. Habitual bonds most be broken as the only solution to turn a hobby Actor to a professional market value Actor.

5. ACTING WITH RHYME AND PATTERNS

An Actor or Actress who understands characterisation, Building into Characters, understanding Director imagination, breaking free from habitual bonds will definitely add selling Values in his or her Acting style

Rhymes in songs make them sweet, patterns make songs unique how much more about an Actor who display professional patterns with rhymes.
